About SafeCrane |
An online resource created for Users, Owners, Operators, Dogman and Riggers of cranes
|
About SafeCraneSafeCrane was created by the Crane Association of New Zealand (Inc.) as an online resource for the users of cranes in New Zealand.
In 2013 the association undertook a significant rewrite of the New Zealand Crane Safety Manual moving it from a resource for Crane Users, Owners and Operators to the most modern resource available in the workplace for Crane Operators and Dogman. In doing so the association made the difficult decision to remove content written for Crane Users and Owners and focus entirely on our highest priority the education of Crane Operators and Dogman. A choice that allowed more space and a significantly more focused manual for its audience, the New Zealand Crane Operator and Dogman. This website moves to replace and update resources lost to Crane Users and Owners in the Crane Safety Manual by providing a readily available space for content focused to the Users and Owners of Cranes. By choosing a website the association is able to provide for the rapidly changing legislative environment while still providing clear guidance to the crane industry. SafeCrane's ContentThe content of the SafeCrane website has been compiled by members of the technical committee of the Crane Association of New Zealand (Inc.)
SupportThe content of SafeCrane has been developed with the support of: Without businesses such as these dedicating time and resource, this website would not be possible.
